"So You Think You Can Dance" Finale episode watch party by family and friends, for Miami dancer Jeanine
Mason, who is a top 4 finalist on the show, was hosted by Peace Love World at the Murray home in
South Miami August 5th, 2009. The watch party was featured on Miami's WSVN Channel 7 News and
Deco Drive. For this special occasion, Peace Love World created the limited edition “I am Jeanine
Mason” t-shirt and donated them to Jeanine's large support system of family, friends, and fans.
Jeanine competed against thousands of hopefuls across America including 3 other top twenty dancers from
Miami. Top 4 finalist Brandon Bryant is also from Miami. Jeanine and the other dancers were asked to find
and begin wearing the clothes of any up and coming designer during the rehearsals. Jeanine called on Miami
designer Alina Villasante, creator and visionary of Peace Love World, a new clothing brand based in Miami.
When Jeanine first wore the “I am Peace” tank top in black, and the other dance contestants "went wild" for
Peace Love World. "Jeanine took it upon herself to spread the peace and love by sharing her clothes with her
competitors." During a trip to Los Angeles, Alina met the other dancers and gave each a special package
containing tanks, t-shirts, and fleece pants in four of the five primary designs, “I am Peace”, “ I am Love”,
“I am Happiness” and “I am Chaos.” Week after week dance competitors were seen were seen on
national TV on the red carpet and in public wearing Peace Love World designs.
"The exposure for Peace Love World resulting from show has been incredible" but Alina kept the
focus on Jeanine during her quest to become “America’s Favorite Dancer.”
