Florida International University's Phi Sigma Sigma sorority presented the 8th Annual Exotique Fashion
Show, to benefit the Janelle Bertot's Wishing Well Foundation, held at the FIU Graham Center
Ballroom October 26th, 2009 in Miami. Janelle’s Wishing Well Foundation was established in
honor of Janelle Bertot who died in 2004 from carbon monoxide intoxication. The foundation
works to help raise public awareness about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Barbara Bertot (Janelle’s mother) and Breny DeParr, thanked the sorority, spoke
about the foundation and further helped raise awareness about
the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.
